Focal beads are single borosilicate glass beads
that are used as a "focal point," or center piece,
in jewelry and crafts. They tend to be larger
than spacer beads and may feature more
intricate patterns and designs.
Spacer Beads are sold in lots of 4 or more. Even
though each bead is unique, they are made with
matching colors and patterns are are sold as sets.
As with all our other products, borosilicate glass
is used exclusively.
Evil eye beads have been around for thousands
of years. It is believed that the envy of others can
cause harm to another person. The beads are
beleived to ward off envious eyes. They are still
used today in countries such as
Turkey and Greece.
Pendants are used as center pieces of jewelry
and various crafts. Most feature intricate
designs that truly attract the eye's attention.
Most pendants are blown and not wound
onto mandrels as many beads are. As with all
our other products, borosilicate glass is used
exclusively to ensure strength and durability.
Beads are labeled orphans when there are 3 or
fewer matching spacers, or unique beads that
don't quite fit in an existing set that we have. Of
course, we also throw in a few sets of 4 as well
as focal beads to make the lots more interesting
and the auctions more exciting.
